Clovenstone Community Garden
The Clovenstone Neighbourhood Garden project started in 2016, and now has around 35 growers, a community orchard, a pond area with a stunning clematis, and a big community shed which is shared by gardeners.
Everyone is welcome to join regular sessions with Community Gardener Richard, where you can help with communal tasks, learn new skills, and meet like minded folk while contributing to your local community, with regular harvests from the garden donated to Sunflower Pantry.
The garden is not only a space for growing but also relaxation, gathering, and creativity, with delicious, fun-filled picnics often taking place.
Fun Fact: The garden houses a self-watering strawberry plant system on the side of the shed, rigged up by gardener Mike – very innovative!
