Gracemount Walled Garden

Gracemount Walled Garden is a large walled garden run by Transition Edinburgh South, a climate campaign group. The garden has around thirteen large growing beds, fruit trees, a polytunnel, and a shipping container which provides secure storage and weather cover.

The site is managed by a community gardener and the fantastic volunteer group, with produce donated to community food projects and meals, making it an invaluable resource to the wider community. The garden is also adjacent to Gracemount Primary School and Nursery, and has hosted a variety of activities with the school, hopefully inspiring lots of budding gardeners to get community growing in the future!
