The Community Alliance Trust (CAT) is a community development trust established to promote and deliver community regeneration activities in Greater Craigmillar.  Between 2014 and 2018 they worked with Edible Estates, to set up of two neighbourhood garden projects in Magdalene and Bingham.

In 2018, they established a small community growing project in the grounds of Bristol Memorial Church.  This has evolved into a small ‘community food hub project’, with a group of local residents growing food and sharing the food at regular community meals in the church hall.  They have since set up a food pantry.
